When Lisa Clarke started her catering company Hedgehog Pie in 1995 in London, little did she know that she would become so obsessed with perfecting her signature hand made chocolate cup pudding that it would lead to her launching a chocolate cookery school! A date to cook dinner for the Queen with chocolate cups on the menu was how it all started and she’ll tell you the story herself when you meet her!
The Chocolate Tart started in May 2007 and recently sold its 1000th voucher ! Situated in a picturesque courtyard setting tucked away in Congresbury it is like stepping into chocolate heaven, the aroma of cocoa wafts out to greet you as you are welcomed into a beautiful working kitchen full of chocolate making equipment ready for each student to master skills that will stay with you forever.
